Go Live and Operation of a POS system
or an ERP system

The introduction and acceptance of a new POS or ERP system is primarily a matter of good planning and appropriate preparation. We offer you our support in this journey based on our experience and commitment.

Questions that we clarify in the consultation before the Go Live:
  • Have the key users been involved in the planning in good time?
  • Have the essential requirements been implemented?
  • Has the POS or ERP system successfully passed all UAT and stress tests?
  • Do all interfaces and the infrastructure work?
  • Has sufficient documentation been prepared and has thorough training of the employees been carried out? Possibly as part of a "Train the Trainer" concept?
Other factors play a role for the time of commissioning:
  • The conversion to a new POS/ERP system should not be carried out during peak business hours
  • Sufficient staff must be available for both the customer and the partner
  • In order to avoid working with the old and new systems in parallel for too long, it is best to carry out the changeover at the beginning of the fiscal year
  • We recommend to concentrate only on the pure software implementation
  • Preparatory measures, such as the replacement of hardware or infrastructure measures should be carried out and tested beforehand
  • It should be examined whether the introduction can be divided into companies, countries or regions
  • It is advisable to include test branches or subsidiaries. The experience gained from this should be incorporated into the subsequent rollout, and the interim time for rework should be taken into account.
